I gave this movie 5 stars because I say so.
(Hahaha ito ang pinaka-walang kwentang review. You have been warned.)

I won't be giving major spoilers so instead here's the stuff I learned while watching the movie:
1. Take a pee break before entering the cinema.
I learned this the hard way. I had way too many glasses of freebie iced tea at the cinema lobby press catering thingy, plus a large lemonade. It took a lot of bladder control 'cause I couldn't bear to leave my seat and miss out on the action.
2. Did I say 'action?'
There's lots of it, for humans and non-biological extra-terrestrials alike. Ang saya. Hahah.
3. The robot transformations were intricate and unsettling.
But they hella rawk. Really. I was involuntarily muttering oohs and ahhhs. (Seatmates did not mind, they were doing the same. Heehee.) Both Decepticons and Autobots look more bad ass now than they did in the cartoon series.
4. I have forgiven the fact that Bumblebee was not a Volkswagen beetle.
He's not so puny anymore! The Camaro makeover was major pogi points. Haha.
5. I was glad Prime's container unit did not have a part at all in the movie.
Its appearances in the series were always hard to explain and come to terms with anyway.
6. The story is not too hard to follow.
I've only seen the G1 series (I didn't even see the G1 movie), and I can say it's pretty much a stand-alone film. Good for newbies and cult followers.
7. I miss Soundwave.
He's not in the movie. Bah. His technology may be outdated but he's still my favorite Transformer (along with his little cassette private army).
8. The movie deserves a second viewing.
With too many things happening, I must have missed a lot of details. Di pa ako tapos magreact may nangyayari na ulit. Anyway, I''ve got a ticket to tomorrow's showing so there. Yay! *^_^*
More than meets the eye. You've got that right. BEE-OTCH! Heeheehee.
